Would there be any way of creating a pop up that would come up when you get a PM? Maybe I'm the only one but I think it's easy to miss the messages

If I remember correctly, if I have mail running along with chrome over the top, then I get a mail pop up telling me as such. That's with 8.1.

It IS a possible addon for this forum software, although im not sure if it will cause conflicts with any other mods that have already been installed. Farjo or Aegid bearing mel are your men for this (worth mentioning, a mod like this may cause grief with some antivirus/ anti spam/ pop up blockers, due to the "pop-up" nature of the notification).

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Might be handy. I don't know anything about interwebbing so if it causes hassle don't do it.

I'm away from a proper keyboard for a week or so and we can look at the mod after that. However have you noticed that our mobile skin has a big button telling you that you have a message?

There is a pop up when on the forum, Profile> Modify Profile> Personal Message Options>  Show a popup when you receive new messages.
