Not far from Portsmouth. And yes, do! The foccers there are a nice bunch (watch out for the little guy with them shifty eyes though :lol ), and there are some pretty cool roads that way too. Smile

Not as far as I'm aware, but further south down the Meon Valley is a different story.

Last Sunday I was leading a Ride Out that was supposed to go through Hambledon, but it's badly flooded there now Sad

It's at the junction of the A32 and the A272.

See http://www.loomies.co.uk/ for details. It can get pretty jam packed on fine summer weekends!

One of my favourite bits of road down here is the Denmead road that runs from the B2177 up through World's End and joining up with the B2150, it's great fun Smile

B2150 went right past my front door. My old house is now part of the White Hart Inn.

Thats one of my haunts, good roads up to portsdown hill but i dont know the names or numbers of them. Ill get the map out and try and organize something when the world dries out a bit. I should try snd get together with some of the local gents and work out a route. I did get nicked for doing 36 in a 30 area so we need to be a bit carefull.

Unfortunately big sections of the A32 and A272 have now been made 50 limit, allegedly "for safety", but the word I've heard is that if they're reclassified as 50 limit the County Council don't have to do as much maintenance work on them, thus "saving" money at the expense of crappy surfaces and potholes Sad

There are still plenty of back roads which are worth a look Smile
