Hi Mark here from Plymouth. Newest owner of a FZS600.

Since buying I have had to rebuild all the back breaking system as it started to fail on me. That sorted, I gave it a service, oil filter, air filter, new oil and plugs and it still sounds and starts like a bag of nails.

I am thinking that carb balancing will do the trick.

Greetings Mark from Plymouth, and welcome to the foc-ers!
Bike sounds like bag of nails eh? I'm sure there's a guru on here knows how to deal with that, one will be along shortly!
Meanwhile enjoy the riff-raff on here, were all harmless enough.
Oh, and we need a piccy of your bike on here, pictures paint a thousand words etc. Show us ya baby!
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Carb balancing after a full service does the trick. Starts well and so far, all annoying noises reduced. Job is a goodun so far.
