Some of you have fairly straightforward names, yet some are a bit more cryptic, especially some of the new members.
I chose mine for two reasons: It happens to be a favourite song of mine, but it's also because of my history of writing off/crashing/blowing up/breaking down any vehicle I touch.
To give you an idea, I've been driving 22 years, riding 3 months and my Fazer is the 62nd vehicle to pass through my hands.
So come on, what are your stories?
And yes, I'm at work and seriously this bored.
Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,
too fucked up to care any more.
Well then....noggythenog....basically im one ugly mofo & when i was a kid there was this young chracter on star trek deep space 9 called nog, he was a Ferengi,it was on at tea time & my dad started calling me Nog & it just stuck, he still calls me it!....& he declared himself the grand Nagus, the ruler of all the Ferengi.

<------ Same here. Though I've also been refered to as the Flying Canary on the odd occasion within karting circles.
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad
Mine was after trying to think of an alias when I was like 11... ended up "borrowing" the name from Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries and as all 11 year olds tend to play shooting games etc etc I tend to favour Sniper Rifles and so the route meaning of "Dead Eye" can be associated with accuracy and precision...
Long story short, I was like 11 or 12 when I chose it and I've been using it since. Can't be bothered to think of another one

After passing my bike test at the age of 16 in 1971, I stopped riding road bikes after about 3 years. I did 3 seasons of Motocross in 78 to 81 and then had no contact with bikes until 9 years ago when a friend asked me if I could teach her to ride a bike. As neither of us had one that would have been a bit difficult so I had a look for learner legal things and found they were damned expensive and gutless. So I bought an old 600 Diversion that I found on eBay. I taught her the basics on that and she then went off and did her DAS course. I rode the Divi about a bit and scared myself to death just about every time I took it out. Said friend suggested I contacted the place where she had done her DAS course as they also did what they called a Rusty Rider course for people returning to bikes after a long time away. I booked myself on that course and we started by the instructor telling me to ride while he observed from behind. When we stopped, he could barely stand for laughing! His comment was that I knew how to ride a bike, knew the rules of the road but had been driving cars for so long that I couldn't do both at the same time. I was, in his words, the man the course had been named after, the ultimate Rusty Rider.
After doing the one day course, my confidence came back, I learnt all about things like road positioning, counter-steering and numerous other tips. After a very short time I was giving the Divi a big handful of throttle and finding myself thinking, c'mon then, get on with it. So I bought the Fazer which is still faster than me so I think I'll be keeping it for quite some time (unless I follow all the other Mk1 600 riders who seem to be throwing them down the road with almost monotonous regularity).
i'm a caretaker. even tragic-er lack of imagination, although after reading noggy's tale i should be joe 90, or speccy twat or four eyes which were some of my names from school. i think you can get the picture!

Unfortunately mine's even simpler still, when asked on signing up on here for a username i wasn't feeling too creative at the time so used the one they gave me at work, which just happens to be part first name and part surname combined.......very boring, but at least i can't forget it
(the work one has changed so there's no security issues)
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.

Opinions are like A**holes, Everyone has one. Some people seem to have more than one though which is a bit odd.

I got fed up trying to find a user name that hadn't been used on ebay. I owned a DRZ 400 at the time so there you have it. Not many people own up to having a DRZ.......
Apologies to Big Blue Bear and his 6'3" frame of robustly built, potty mouthed Rangers fan and to the Father of Eve (evesdad) as I had to delete your posts to open the thread up again.
Hopefully this has sorted the problem, until I manage to break the site a whole lot more playing behind the scenes.
Again.
:b :rollin
The name I always used to use was "Chaos" or "captain chaos" after being obsessed with the cannonball run movies when I was younger and then I was usually "mumbles" (still use this one on some forums) because I often get accused of... mumbling, funnily enough. :\

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.
