RST Kevlar jeans, Oxford tank and tail packs and 600 Foxeye blue flip-up screen
#1
Hi there guys and gals,
I have few bits and bobs that I'm not using, or not planning on using in the future.

RST Kevlar jeans, size 34x32 (WxL) bought but didn't get on with (prefer me textiles). They come with knee and hip armour. The hip armour has been cut down from some slightly bigger pads to make it more comfortable and the hip pockets are removable. The stonewash/fade on them is a little extreme, but they could always be dyed.

£20 plus postage
Now Sold

Screen was with the bike when I bought it but isn't my cup of tea. It has been used so has a few minor scratches that could be polished out I suppose, but it looks ok and looks like a genuine Yamaha one. I think someone had put an edging strip on it as it came with a bit of gluey residue on the top edge which I've cleaned off

£10 plus postage

The tank bag (magnetic) and tailpack are both Oxford, the slightly older stuff pre x-series and 1st time luggage, but haven't been used much and I'd put them in the nearly new category. I always just ride with a rucksack so don't use them. They've perhaps been used twice. The other reason is 'cause they're red, and I now have a blue Fazer instead of a red CBR. I haven't got the cover for the tank bag, but I can't remember if I have the one for the tailpack.
I haven't got any photos of them at present (I'm at work) but I'll take some this evening and update the thread.
I'm looking for £30 each plus postage.

Cheers all

Simon

As promised, photos of the tank/tail packs.

There were too many to put up individually so it's a slideshow.

Each comes with an extra set of bungies (two approx 12" and two approx 8"), and a shoulder strap too. Each one also has a cover.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Hi Simon, just a O.T. question?  Have the kevlar jeans shrunk since you bought them as me and the missus are after some but were both inbetween sizes??

Thanks  Rich

Rich, sorry, but the jeans have been sold.

Fras, they're still up for grabs. Not sure on postage yet, but I'll box them up tomorrow at work and let you know.

Ah, I see what you were on about now, sorry for being obtuse  :\

They acted just like normal jeans, contracting (not exactly shrinking) in the wash then loosening up when worn. I'd get the size up from your inbetween size as you won't want them too tight when you're sat on the bike, then just tighten your belt when you getto where you're going. It's what I used to do  Big Grin
