Hi all - I know weight matched linear springs are the ideal set up in forks with modern cartridge damping - but and here's the question ----
------ is it worth paying £40 over the cost of decent progressive springs (Halgon) for weight matched linear springs with the standard gen 1 forks and their very basic damping ?
I have seen the page on the upgraded damping mod - which is ace but I don't have that sort of money available.
I am more than a bit " Big Boned" ( I'm a 19 stone fat bastard) and know that standard springs are designed for the weight of my right leg!
I have also got some pre-load adjusters from an 01 set of forks to add to my forks.
