It took me a while before the penny dropped that Suzuki weren't at the show. They're probably saving their pennies so they can return to Motogp. :lol

Ha ha, yeah seemed odd. My mate was looking for a new bike, come May he will have the cash, but it won;t be going their way for sure.

On the way up I said to him about the new Triumph Tiger Sport, he bloody loved it, so did I, could have spent his money for him.

I fell in love with the BMW K1300S, liked them already but sitting on it had me!

at risk of sounding like a know it all i have a mate in the know  Big Grin .. they decided to save the budget for a bike launch later in the year.
A stand at the show was in the region of £20k for the weekend...
Lord,
Grant me the WD-40 to move those things that are stuck, the Duck tape to fasten those things that are loose, And the wisdom to know the difference.

Was a good show but where were all the scantily clad young ladies?
Was also surprised that there was no sign of the Fazer 1000 - they had the 800 but no 1000?

Enjoyed the little show

I bought some Goodridge brake lines and a Renthal handle bar for £95. So with the £16 on petrol, £5 parking, £20 to get in, £6for a bite to eat and £5 for a pint so all in all I'm quids in.
Although had a great chat with Mark White and Emma Franklin fron Performance Bikes and chew the fat with Hugo Wilson from Bike so not a complete waste of time.

Guess its because the 800 has been updated, albeit only slightly.

No Aprilia Caponord 1200 was strange, considering it was at the NEC and is a new model.
No Suzuki or Norton.

Do they see the London show as not worth the effort just for a weekend and not so many customers as the NEC show, or was there another show elsewhere in Europe?
