If you have a think about somewhere we can go (a spin near Hinkley ? or we can decide on the day) and where we can meet up (enderby near asda ?) I'd be happy to go for a spin. I'd follow you if that's okay as I'm a newb.
I'm available Mon-Fri mornings and reasonably flexible at the weekend when given notice.

I m not going to be free for the next few weekends, but I have a few ideas for a meet up the simplest being McDonalds Fosse Park which was done one before and a few turned up.
I live reasonably close , in rugby. A favourite run is the loop from market harborough up to melton via uppingham and back. Can be a bit hairy due to so many junctions and blind corners, but a superb bit of road all the same.
I like uppingham as it has a ducati dealership and the tucker wagon does very nice sausage sarnies .
Definitely interested provided you remember I'm inexperienced and probably slow :-(.
Rode from Harborough to Grantham, to Bingham, then back to Market Harborough via Melton. The hills and junctions were fun but I need more experience.
I looked at http://www.motocentral.co.uk/ at the weekend, which is in Hinkley which is probably not too far from you. Clothing only but an interesting place. I'm considering getting a Caberg Duke helmet as the flip front would be ace for filling up at petrol stations, it's sharp 5*, cheap and comfy as anything.

I think Melton is looking a good meeting place the location in the link is a park with tea hut where bikers pull in, so it would make a great meeting point and then look at the idea of riding on maybe to the coast (i know a good route). I would be happy to lead and would use the make sure you keep the bike behind in view method, I treat a ride out as a social so not about making my best progress ( which is not that fast anyhow) So I m on Holiday in a weeks time so would be happy to do a date after 23rd of Feb.

Yes. where the google man is standing turn him through 180 and you will see the back of some huts there the cafe the entrance is to the left of them. Get to where the man is you will not miss it.
If you have a date and a place may I suggest that you start a new thread dedicated to that meet. It will be clearer to those outside this thread, and you will be able to place it on our calendar (admods can do this if you like).
