Whats that Tune?
#1
Had a tune buzzing round my head for a couple of days and I can't remember what it's called Heeellppp.

It's from the seventies I think. Instrumental with lots of trumpet, bongos and guitar. It's funk based similar sort of thing as Machine Gun by the Commodores.

It's doing my head in , I must find it and play it loud  :eek

ABBA?
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - strawberries in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming - WOO HOO! What a Ride!"

Soundhound is pretty good at identifying tunes and you don't have to be able to hold a tune for it to work.

Was it by Maggie Thatcher............ she was mad as bongos and good at blowing her own trumpet?

It's a foccin instrumental :lol

About a month ago I heard it again on Steve Wright but missed the bit where he says what it was :hammer and since then it's been rattling round my head.
It's probably a seventies soul funk band and it wasn't a big hit or by a big band and it's the sort of tune that they would use as a background to talking over on the radio so probably not going to find it unless I email Steve Wright !!
