Bike Test - Parliamentary Debate
#1
This  is a bit of a long read, but it's the text of Tuesday's debate in Parliament on the upcoming changes to the Bike Tests.

It appears that there is a genuine desire on the part of our politicians to sort out this mess and prevent people from being deterred from biking, which is good news! :thumbup

We learned about the new test route a few months ago so my eldest rushed out (he is 17) and took his test a few days after passing his car test. That means he can go unrestricted at 19 with no further tests whereas waiting till after January would have meant multiple tests and being 21 at least before becoming unrestricted.

his younger brother is not amused that it will be harder for him if they haven't banned motorbikes by then!
