Euro tour advice
#1

Taking the old girl for another lap around Europe this September "That's the Fazer not the wife". Any one know any nice campsites, roads or things to see/do on the route. I have picked out a few of the obvious touristy things to do in the main City's. The route is in the planning stage and can be modified if there is more interesting stuff but i want to end up in Rome and Split at some stage.

Keep your spare change in an outside pocket for all those tolls you're going to have to go through Smile

Le Mans 24 hours is at the beginning of Sept. I'm going to that. Guest houses are around 40 euros in the nearby town. Potentially around 30 hours of non-stop boozing is in order at endurance races with bands, booze, funfair, hogroasts, booze, stunt riders, booze etc, a great event.
Worth going.

All as Sadlonleygit says
We went down to Croatia last year through Austria to Zell am See then over this--- http://www.grossglockner.at/en/  ------into Slovenia to lake  Bled, but then take a detour  to Lake Bohinj  abut 20miles from Bled and not as busy .
Then on down past Senj this road is the dogs ( link to a vid my wife made on way back)
