Now that really is.....bonkers! Why don't people think?! Seriously though, I hope she recovers ok, burns are truly horrible!

Even if she does die she'd need to have done it before having kids (or included all of them in the conflagration) to be eligible... the whole point of the award is to commemorate those who've removed their dimwit genes from the pool completely.
So, just impressively stupid... but no Darwin Award.

And on top of the burns, she'll have to fill the containers again :lol

I know this was a stupid thing to do, but I think she's paying for it - no need for off-the-cuff remarks for someone who has, after all, received 40% burns.

I'm just as guilty - starting saying how stupid can someone be? Until I remembered pouring petrol from a plastic petrol container onto a bonfire once. I was effin lucky not to have blown an arm off or worse.

So, as stupid as this silly cow was, spare a thought for her as well as a sadistic chuckle.

I've seen quite a lot of spilt diesel today about North London.

This might be due to the van men loading full jerry cans of it in to the backs of their vans, leaving them unstrapped and then driving as van men do.

Just a warning to all . . . . . . .

(Poor woman also)

I still can't get my head around this whole thing but especially why was she transferring from a petrol container into a glass jug?

There are calls for the government to issue a public health warning but surely this will be: "petrol is highly flammable".

I'd guess she was going to pour it from the glass jug into empty lemonade bottles or something similar, so she could then fill the petrol container again at the petrol station (and repeat until out of lemonade bottles or cash, whichever happens first).
