For sale:2000 FZS 600 -£400 - Breaking considered - SOLD SOLD SOLD

Hey guys.
It's that sad time of life when you have to say goodbye to your Fazer.
I had a bad year with her last year, two accidents and a spill, but I kept her going despite having a new daughter on the way.
Unfortunately, it's coming up to MOT time, and I cant afford to do the necessary to get her up to scratch.
I'm still using it as a run-around, and the engine still pulls well. She's got about 45-50,000 on the clock (i think) and has some cosmetic damage (including a dented tank).
I had to have the front sprocket welded on after the nut threaded it, and it probably needs changing.
I fitted some stainless downpipes and a beowulf can, but the can has a small dent and scuff, and the downpipes need a good polish.
The front right fork seal cover has now gone, and to be honest, I feel sad every time I look at her.

I want her gone. I'm not a mechanic, so I cant validate if the parts are sound, but I know how to use a spanner, and I've had the engine out before so I could check and replace the valve shims (with the help of a friend).

So i'm looking for about £400 (so i can embarrassingly buy a scooter to get to work) or I will break if there is enough interest.

Cheers for stopping by.

I took these about 30 mins ago. I haven't cleaned her in a long time (due to kids and work) and she's been living outside this autumn and winter due to a change of address with no garage.
I've put up a pic from front and rear, plus the damage to the front left fairing (a present from my mum reversing into it). I have another 4 pics of the other damage. If you want, i'll post them in a bit.
Cheers

It honestly doesn't look that bad to me.
Fork dust seals are cheap and easy to fit. What do you think would cause an MOT failure?
I'd certainly be happier riding around on a slightly tatty Fazer than a scooter. Smile

I think it's more seeing her in the condition she's in. I used to really look after her, but I just cant afford the outlay, or time to get her back up to scratch. Last year she was hit whilst parked up, and fixed courtesy of his insurance. Looked brand spanking new.... ish!  Smile
Then my mom backed into her and scratched the new front fairing; I took a spill when some smeg-head pulled out on me and did the opposite side in; Then the wind blew her off the centre stand into a brick pillar and dented the tank.
I had the front sprocket nut go on me, a new chain seize up, and a puncture on a near new rear bridgestone. So now I'm fed up! Smile

I know scooters suck, but I need something cheap to run, so I can pop to the shop for fags and baby milk.

Ah well, someone's going to get a bargain if you're only asking £400 for it.
Mine's a fair bit scruffier and I still enjoy riding it... I regard the mangled fairing and corroded fork bottoms as character. :lol

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been able to get back to any of you... It's been a hectic day.

Pulled out of the supermarket, and the back end felt a bit wriggly...

1 bloody panel pin stuck through the rear tyre... it's only done about 600 miles. :'(

I had to fill it full of tyre weld to get it home, as it's just a slow puncture... but I understand if any of you guys aren't interested anymore.

If you still are interested, PM me please.
