Speedo healer
#1
Hi, I recently bought an imported gen 1 that has kph clocks fitted. The guy i bought it from said it has a speedo healer fitted. Where abouts are they usually located and how easy are they to remove. I'm thinking of converting it back to mph clocks. Also if anyone knows a shop that can correct the mileage of the clocks i buy, so that the mileage is the same. Smile Cheers.

the speedo healer box is less in size than a match box, so could be fitted pretty much anywhere.
I fitted mine near the rear tail light under the seat, as it was dry and easy to accses if i needed to alter the settings.
Best bet is to log on to the speedohealer web site, and look at the fitting guide. that will show you where its pluged in to the loom and then you can easly trace the wire back to the box.

Found it behind r/h side panel. It simply plugs into both ends of the speed sensor block connector. I take it if i simply disconnect it and remove it, then plug the connectors back together it will be back to standard readings?
