Hi All, thinking of moving on from the FZS600 to an FZ8. Chap on Facebook is selling a 2012 one for £2700 and he's in my home town of Sittingbourne. FZ8SA
38000 miles.
comes with all keys inc red one and service history.
Oxford heated grips and R and G Tail tidy. MOT 14/07/26
seems to have a pipeworx exhaust
Not seen the reg number yet so not able to check MOT history.
What do you guys think? fair price? What am I looking out for if I go see it?
Only downside, it's slow blue (I've only every had red bikes before) Hoping the blue 800 will be the equivalent of a red 600 in terms of power ha ha

Whats wrong with your fzs 600 - the FZ8 is crap in comparison Grahamm has got one so that is all you need to know
Other than that sounds expensive but then again I have not been looking.
In any event avoid a black one as they may really scare you as they are the fastest
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

She just starting to look her age. I've never had anything else than a fzs 600, I guess I just fancy a change, something a little newer. I saw this, it's really close to home. Thought might be worth a look.

Buy a Tracer, much better bike
If I ever changed then it would probably be a street triple

I have an FZ6, not an FZ8, which shows just how much you know
Not ridden one but just be on the lookout for the usual stuff. If it’s done 38,000 and on original shock it will be needing attention.

Lots of helpful advice for HarryHornby here...
They weren't a popular bike Grahamm, didn't sell well at all in the UK, bit of a stop gap bike before the MT machines were available

Yes the advice for Harry is do not buy one cause they are shit - the fact that you have one is all he needs to know.

Thanks everyone! I won't be buying one! It was also blue, so would have been dog slow, too!! :-)
Grandma had an FZ8, and she was anything but slow on it, to be fair! I think she really liked it, too.

Haven’t seen Grandma since we did that Egg Run from Whitstable, about 9 years ago?
Whizz kid sitting pretty on his two wheeled stallion.
