Live feed
#1
I'd like to connect a voltmeter, just an £8 thing from Amazon.
I've got one on my Blackbird after getting stranded (notorious for Reg/Rec issues, in fact one of the 'cures' is to fit an R1 item!) and it's great for peace of mind.  8)
So I need a 'switched' live feed, preferably near to the battery, maybe with a junction so I don't have to cut into anything.
Anybody done similar?

When I did mine I used the switched live sidelight wire, accessed by removing the right hand infill panel. I’m using a Gammatronix led monitor now, as found the digital display too distracting. Certainly agree as to the usefulness of some sort of charging monitor.

Thanks, that shouldn't be too hard to find.
As you say, it's not so much the accuracy of the volts measured that counts, just that you get used to what's 'normal' for the bike and can spot trouble in advance.
