You’re going to have to explain the clock thing for the under fives. The time stamp on the pic on my phone is 13:12. The clock on the bike only displays a 12 hour periods, hence 1:11pm

This is hard work, it was a joke with a reference to not putting the clock back one hour last Saturday.

I have fitted genuine akra which I found in a very good price. Yes it would need some love but overall it is good. Unfortunately it came without link pipe and db killer, but I found them and cannot resist to buy them too.
I am getting all parts ready for r1 fork conversion, so changed the oil and seals in them. Hope I will have the yokes ready soon.
And yes, I bought and fitted new front brake disks too.

A great day to be out on the bike, especially this late in the year. I was Billy no mates today as the usual retired suspects couldn’t come out to play for various reasons. Made up a really convoluted route to Brighton, which clocked 98 miles to my favourite Brighton cafe, bearing in mind it’s only about 50 miles taking a more direct route. Then eastwards towards Eastbourne and Battle before an afternoon cuppa at the 1066 cafe on the A21. Then more B roads, one junction on the M25 and home with 200.9 miles showing on the trip.

Removed the swing arm ready to replace the bearings in the swing arm and the suspension linkage 'knuckle' (slight play in suspension linkage noted as an advisory on the last MOT). Cleaned and inspected the swing arm and removed the bearings. Swing arm is starting to look a bit ropey in places so got a quote for re-anodising it at £200. Hmmmm
