I am sure I had that in the 70's. The man with the lorry would come round and sell us bottles of the stuff. Things like Cola, Fizzy Orange and worst of all, Dandelion and Burdock. Once we had a couple of glasses, we would feel ill.
All soft drinks were better back in the day coz they were full of sugary goodness, nuffink tastes the same anymore.
Does anyone else remember going to the cinema on a Saturday morning and paying with jam jars?

I remember nicking empty bottles out the back of one pub yard, then taking them in for the pennies at another. and yuh, I loved dandelion and burdock too

Chinese students in my local Midlands town - wearing face masks - cheeky focs if you dont lile our air then go back to China. They were actually wearing them before corona. Is it actually just a fashion item for them.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

I am far from PC on occasion but then I grew up in the 70's and 80's when things were much simpler. Dangly bits down below - male. no dangly bits - female.
If someone with dangly bits fancies some fun with another person with dangly bits then so be it. Each to their own but in the eyes of most people, thats man and man etc. I dont give a foc and to be honest neither do most other people. The only people that seem to give a foc are the ones that think they are not male when they have dangly bits (or vice versa) and to me, for that reason, are the ones that have the problem.
Friends of Dorothy. Not heard that for a while and for a long time, it was seen as a badge of honour for certain groups. The only people that yeem to complain about phrases like that these days actually have nothing to do with the group it refers to normally, just taking offence on their behalf.

I'll be straight (no pun intended), i had zero clue as to what you were even talking about?
"Friends of Dorothy"?
I've never heard that phrase used before, and just had to Google what it supposedly means.
I only said The Wizard Of Oz because it's the oldest film that i know of by name. :lol
