Well wise ! better a slightly expensive low mileage minter than a cheap & cheerful high mileage load of potential trouble,your new bike's hardly run in even if it is a few years old. :thumbup :woot.

It’s just reality Hedge.


Worse still new prices drag up used prices.


Plus, if the blonde one gets his way, and the pound slumps, which it will, bikes unlike cars are easily transferable to other countries.  I don’t know if there are duties under WTO rules on used goods, but if not, used bikes in the UK could look cheap and be snapped up by dealers in neighbouring countries, further pushing up prices for us in the UK.


We’ve had it good for a long time, but……………


Meanwhile I hope Stew is enjoying his almost new old bike.  It looks stunning.  I’d have snapped it up myself if it hadn’t of been well over 400 miles away.  Enjoy Stew.
