Can't believe it! I was out for the best part of 2hrs trying to find a fuckin' milestone ,ended up at Stratford-on-Avon (which wasn't to crowded!!!) I thought if I took an old road there I would see an old milestone,I then decided to cheat and pulled into an antiques barn where they sold everything,my idea was I would find an old sign,take it onto the road and photo it but you wouldn't believe the miserable bastard in charge,you'd have thought I'd told him to empty the till!!needless to say I got no joy but that's what you get for cheating.I'm watching the racing tomorrow then I'm out until I find one. :wall

Cheers,Red,can't get out today,got the grandkids round,so don't feel right going out,my wife don't mind but we don't see 'em that much. So I'll have a look in the week,no doubt I'll see one and go to put it on and find a load on there and the challenge changed. :groan :lol

Thought I better go see if this is doable , got the mighty six out and headed to the A4 where it crosses the river thames , first two pictures taken either side of the river and are stone , then headed to Marlow , bucks and another old thames crossing , found another two , one looks like steel the other cast iron , to make this challenge a bit easier , iron, steel or stone wins.....
