tough week commuting..

but the thou laps it up and underneath the salt and shite theres still a pukka bike after a wash..

She's looking good there fella! I commuted all week too but chickened out yesterday when I seen the ice on my pathway  :o
Picked up a tin of inhibitor and was going to give it a squirt on the underside of the bike and the pipes to see if it makes any difference.
Probably left it a bit late, now that we'll be heading out of winter in about a month.  :lol

You say that like it's unusual to use corrosion inhibitors on your bike.
I use acf 50 every time I wash the bike or car.

Here's a very good set of reviews of the various corrosion inhibitors (Nooj from Shiny Bike posted the link to this on the Foc-U Facebook page and he's a guy I'd trust to know about this stuff!)

I thought AC50 was the best protection you could get,but that XCP is something else ay?

I use loads of whatever ive got every week after its wash, just working through a gallon of Wurths "Rost Off" now..

Xcp is good stuff alright but I find it leaves a slightly sticky residue that I'm not overly keen on.
