R6 brakes

Hi everyone,


Brake question here.........


I have a 2004 FZ6s and the front brakes are shot so i was wondering if the blue spot calipers off a 2004 R6 will fit the guy who im going to buy them off says they are 5SL and the calipers i have taken off mine say 5SL on them but mine are the sliding type which the R6 ones arnt...anyway just want conformation they will fit before i commit to buying them.

Scrap that dont know where ive seen this 5SL because its not on the brakes god knows where ive seen it anyway will R6 front brakes from an 04 bike fit my 04 FZ6s.

Have a look for the calipers off an FZ6 S2 Fazer, I believe they are the same as the R6/R1 blue spots. Plenty available on e bay. If the fork lowers are the same on the 2004 FZ6 as the S2, then that may be your answer. They look it ti me

I found out that they dont fit with out adapter plates that i can find anywhere so im just going to replace the pistons and seals in the ones i have got its easier  :lol
