Hello guys.I ve noticed sometimes when acelerating hard and fast the engine oil light lights on and stays on untill I roll off the throtle. Is this normal? Does it happens to your bikes or there might be an issue with the bike?I ve checked the oil level and its between the two marks, so it looks ok.
ThanksMiguel
On the FZS600, it is an oil level switch. Put a bit more oil in. The problem can also occur if the oil is too thin as it rushes to the back of the engine quicker. Maybe do an oil change and ensure it is topped up to the max mark.

Many a Yamaha will do this post oil change too. The level switches are a bit on the conservative side.

Yep me too had this when oil level correct and all it needed to stop it was about an egg cup full extra of oil. :lurk Search on here for "Egg Cup" and you will see its common
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
