Great weather in Morecambe today so cleaned her then a ride up to Kirby Lonsdale and finished off at Sunderland point in Overton which is where the photo was taken. Lots of bug splats on the lid too which makes me happy.....summer is finally here, fingers crossed it stays long time.

Fantastic looking bike

Can't remember off the top of my head but they aren't ebc or anything I'd heard of. They were on offer at my local yammy dealer, £200 for the full set. I known its probably sales spiel but the guy reckoned they are popular for the track bikes that they sends up to cadwell as a sponsor so should hopefully be alright. Anythings better than the states that were on there ??

As for what I did today..... went to Willingham woods bike night, absolutely rammed. Saw some stunning bike too

Hey Robbo,
Just out of interest are your exhaust manifold studs stainless, if they are apply plenty of copper slip to them, stainless nuts on stainless studs or bolts can gall or cold weld if this happens they will never come undone.
I do quite a bit of work on boats and galling was something I came across when lowering the masts for an insurance survey to be done on Zara a 24 foot Westerly Paggant, all the turn buckles on the standing rigging had galled and had to be cut off with a disk cutter and replaced with new, not a great problem on standing rigging but would be a pig on the exhaust manifold in behind the frame down tubes.
Have a read on the link below.

No, left the steel studs in as only 1 needed replacement. Thought I'd go with the stainless nuts for ease of disassembly should it be necessary in the future. Was aware of galling so figured dissimilar metals was the way to go. Plenty of copper grease is my middle name :lol . Once you've seen a seized exup valve, you know it makes sense :thumbup
