Today's "What Gets My Goat" - NO POLITICS!
Quote: I'm not sure whether the politicians are making a mess of the negotiations or it will be a good deal.

The referendum was offered to the public as a means to unite the Tory party in order to win an election and also to weaken UKIP.  The politicians never for one minute throught the public would vote for it, so they never gave a split seconds thought to the implications of actually leaving.

That’s why we have this make it up as you go along situation.  Nobody started doing any real work on this until the day after the referendum.  So certain Tory politicians begin to realise there are serious obstacles, such as Ireland and trying to avoid a second Indy ref in Scotland.

Then there’s the fact that the EU  is the biggest single open trading market in the world through which we have trade deals with most significant markets around the globe.  Not to mention employment rights, environmental protection, the rural development fund (which has been fantastic for Scotland)……………….I could go on and on and on.

Meanwhile as bikers, here’s what you need to know;

Before the EU referendum a new MT10 was £9999.00
Today a new MT10 is £11299.00

That because thanks to that referendum our money is worth less.

The only good deal to be had is tearing up Article 50 and throwing it in the bin.

So yeah, BEXIT really gets my goat.

It more than gets my goat, it fucks me off big time.

When we had our Indy Ref we were told by 'Better Together' that to guarantee continued membership of the EU we needed to vote NO!  Also ‘Better Together’ kept banging on that an Independent Scotland would be left outside of the EU (conveniently that we were and still are members).
Lying bastards.

That cost the YES campaign votes.

And now what’s happened – the guarantee turns out to be nothing of the sort.  We voted to remain but England is telling us we must leave.
Yes it gets ma goat blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

It’s a monumental foc up.

I remember years ago when a group of fellas all piled out of a coach at our local pub at around 8pm at night after a days trip at the Epsom Derby.
About 8 of them never even saw a horse during the whole day, they just sat near their coach with crates of booze getting absolutely bladdered!

Still on the snooker, mugs who pay £100+ for a ticket then spend the whole time watching the overhead monitors to see if their stupid grinning faces are on TV.

Take a selfie and grin at that.
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!

Oh and just like to add that I thought Kieran Wilson gained a lot of fans by pleading for the "mobile" offender be allowed back to his seat.

If that were me, on the backstroke of what may be a £200,000 stroke, I would have used his balls for practice.

? lol yeah that's the exact incident that I was alluding to in post #2003.

Do you remember when Stephen  Hendry kept beating Jimmy White in all those finals.

Hendry wasn't exactly popular at the time and someone played the Chas n Dave "Snooker Loopy" ringtone just as he was getting down to play a shot!.

That must have been in the early days of mobiles.

Not really. Was the "yes" campaign led by politicians? So he still believed politicians  Wink
When will people learn, it doesn't matter what side they are on, what party or beliefs they represent, they're all a bunch of lying toe rags?

Well no.  It wasn’t matter of listening to the arguments and making up my mind.  My mind was already make up, nor will it change.

Well no, not really.  But there is an exceptionally high proportion of lying toe rags in the Tory party, not t mention narcissists, sociopaths, opportunists and upper-class twits who just simply don’t have a clue about anything.

English people vote Tory and Scots who don’t vote Tory get a Tory government.  I don’t want to be ruled over by Tories – ever.

Which is exactly why i've never voted.
I refuse to vote for the best of a bad bunch just for the sake of voting for someone, and to this day i can't name a single politician let alone an actual party that i've ever had any confidence in or even liked. As the years go by i don't think such a party can or ever will exist.
They lie their way in with their bullshit campaigns, then just do whatever they fancy once the foot is in the door.
I appreciate the fact that you can't please everyone as everyone has their own ideas in life, but nobody's even got close to even grabbing my attention in a positive way, it's normally their seedy past that hits the headlines first whilst they're slinging shit at each other during the smear campaigns.
There's a politician who i've seen down my local about 3 times in the last few years, and he gets chatting to you quite openly telling you about his job and what party he represents.
I just think he could come across so much better if he didn't literally spill his pint all down his top and trousers as he talks to you. Not just the once, but every time i've seen him. Totally off his nut, yet still insists on giving everyone his business card in the process. Actually, i s'pose that could be classed as entertaining so although he's not worthy of a vote he is worth chatting to for a laugh.  :lol

Well I think of myself as a socialist and a trade unionist.
But what I find today is the youngsters at work (and some of the older uns) moan about the Union.  They say "What has the union ever done for us?"
My answer to them, and in a roundabout way to you, is what have you done for the Union?

At the end of the day, it's a democracy, and love it or loath it, the people will get what they deserve.

Not doubt this has been mentioned many times already.

It's time for VNA to renew his motorcycle insurance.  As my premium has been creaping up for a few years it's time to move.
If nothing else it's the principle of getting a deal that is something like the going rate.
But fuck me is it hard getting a quote.
Why do so many companies in the bike insurance market seem to have no clue about the market they are in? :'( :'( :'(
