To do this from Flickr is a PITA as they don’t (so far as I recall) provide a direct link to the file. I hunted around in the source code to find the address to that small version of the pic itself.


I prefer Postimage as they give a bunch of links to suit various purposes when you upload a pic. Just copy the “direct” link

On FLICKR you need to click on the share button. A box should pop up. Select BBCODE and then select the size - for posting on forums I use the medium size as large is too large.

Yes, me too. The second of those two pictures was posted with Postimage and it was a lot easier than Flickr.

Well now Postimage has made a nuisance of themselves: they changed the address slightly in April so all earlier links are now pointing to the wrong place. Bastards!
(Shouldn’t moan really since it’s a free service, but even so…)
Anyway .org in any old link should now be .cc and it’ll work again.
