How come 2% is kicking ass here but not so in the brexit vote that was even more than 2%
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
that means those two go through to the next round. The race isn't over yet.

When the OP wrote 'kicked some nazi ass' I thought Macron had beaten up some of these mythology driven fascists who keep driving trucks into innocent people or shooting up kids at rock concerts, not someone [like them or not] runnning in a democratic election. Still what do I know?
All it will need to elect Marine le Pen as the next French President is another terror attack and she will win it.
If Macron wins it don't expect him to do the UK any favours concerning Brexit. At least if Le Pen wins the EU will collapse and at least the UK will be able to talk trade deals with who ever we want to in Europe.
MT-09 Tracer for those who no longer can handle a BIG boy Fazer
In the second round, most of the other votes will fall in behind Macron. Le Pen has no other friends....... thank goodness.

That is because you watch UK's tv. They are too busy doing interviews with Farage and licking tory ass. The results are in.
And are exactly as posted. 23% for Macron and 21% for Le Pen reported by the French Home Office: http://elections.interieur.gouv.fr/presi...17/FE.html
If the results were the other way around surely the BBC and Daily Heil would have been reporting today with bombastic headlines for the nazis win. Now they are too quite.
Just mention both are to the next round :z

Scratched my head over that too. Also, there was the glaring omission that Macron also kicked the socialist left's ass, as well as Le Pen's.
I read the Telegraph and the Guardian's accounts of the election and on the BBC too and I'd say the UK media coverage wasn't bad at all really.

Hold on --- he kicked the Right and the Left -- must of been some kind of star kick :lol

So France has traditionally had the slightly left and far left in power now there is a chance that there will be a slightly right (Macon) or a far right (Le Pen) in power instead.
Either will be a big change for the French.

Quote:At least if Le Pen wins the EU will collapse and at least the UK will be able to talk trade deals with who ever we want to in Europe.
So that would leave the UK with 27 trade deals to work out. Further UK companies would have to choose which countries they wish to trade with as we’d no longer have EU (CE) standards.
With BREXIT it will just be ordinary people in the UK that get poorer, if the EU falls apart ordinary folks right across Europe will be worse off.
But as it is we don’t need to talk trade deals with anybody in Europe as we are currently still fully paid up EU members. The UK has not yet left the EU and may yet still come to it’s senses.
Meanwhile the reality is that Macron will win the presidential election – but will he be able to form a government?
Only the right wing think the BBC is left wing. In fact they think everything that isn't the Mail and the Express are left wing
The BBC is pretty much establishment.
However worse than that, and I’m talking BBC TV news here, it’s dumb.
Their political editor Laura Kuenssberg is for far up Theresa May's arse she's got a bird's eye view of those leather trousers.
