Kodi TV boxes - Anyone got one?

I've been using kodi (or xbmc as it was) since about 2003, no problems whatsoever. IIRC there were some issues with an old IPS called freeserve, they attempted to block torrent/media streaming traffic but it blocked multiplayer game traffic (which must have a similar signature to sharing traffic) which annoyed a lot of customers so they turned it off and everything worked again...

Now I'm presuming that you are paying someone £25 to load all the stuff on that is free of charge if I did it myself? But the attraction is it will all work out of the box and according to the blurb, it's self updating so I shouldnt have to cock about, just plug it in and watch. Or is it too good to be true, because if it was, for £60 I'd give it a try.

it's a grey area but would appear you only get into trouble if you sell them at present.
