Welcome in by the way, 2 posts down and both trying to sell your bike. That's not very "cricket " of you old chap. I remember the good old days when people introduced themselves and posted threads. Not kick the door down and try sell their bike straight off the bat.
Or maybe I'm being old fashioned.
What do you reckon gents ?
my momma always says, stupid is as stupid does.
that's all i gotta say about that
Old fashioned maybe but you are right.
I am old, so manners and politeness are not old fashioned to me as it was the norm when I was brought up. Other than this forum, I post on fishing and football forums, the main purpose of all of them is the sharing of experiences, opinions and advice, as well as the odd wind up. But to come on a forum and say "hi wanna buy my bike?", is not on. There's plenty of For Sale columns in plenty of bike mags, MCN springs to mind first.....but then you have to pay to place your advert. Maybe I should have posted this on "What gets my goat". :lol
Whizz kid sitting pretty on his two wheeled stallion.
Maybe there should be a rules for new members section
A sort of do's and dont's or fazer owners etiquette
On the plus side, if he gets that price for it, mine's worth about £1500 more than I thought :lol
It is annoying. Actually, it's foccing annoying. Funny how
One; the blokes that do it always want top dollar
Two; nobody ever buys their bike
Three; they vanish as mysteriously as they appear.
Perhaps the seller is Keyser soze......

Mine was a 2008 (58) model in mint condition, around the same mileage and with loads more upgrades than that one and it took a few months to sell at £3500.
I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.

The Shire, you're about the same size as a feckin Hobbitt :lol
Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.
No Tiger! That's my knob that's the size of a Hobbit, sometimes known as a Hobnob but don't dip it in your hot tea. :lol
