I may be returning to live in the UK in the new year. Question Will I be able to have my bike registered on British plates and will it pass an MOT if the speedometer (Digital readout)is only in KPH. Unlike UK spec bikes which you can change from MPH to KPH at the push of a button EU spec bikes do not have this facility.

I don't think it'll fail if it only shows kmh, some bikes sold new (some chinese ones, some of the cheaper italian scooters) only show klicks and they get approved for sale.
As said above the headlight might need to be sorted.

It's a digital speedo.....................#just saying :pokefun
Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.
Thanks for replies lads, will be in the UK over new year and will ask at Mariotts in Birkenhead, they do MOT's and I know the guys who do the MOT's. This is one of the reasons I hang around this forum someone always willing to help. the MT09 Forum is pish.

On the cage mot site I can change from MPH to KPH at the click of a button, it would be the same for bikes, had a look on the inspection manual but no word in it for either format so can't see it being a problem.
If you worried about falling off your bike, you'd never get on.
