Had to have 2 of them baby pies before I got any taste of mince pie, I had a filling come out on Thursday and the first pie disappeared into the into the black hole of dental decay
Dentist on Tuesday to have filling re-done, at least it happened at the right time, it could of happened on Christmas eve.I had raging toothache over the Christmas period about 6 or 7 years ago, lot of different tooth tincture, paracetamol down my neck like it was going out of style. Ouch! the only thing that gave any relief was a mouthful of Southern Comfort swilled around the tooth every half hour or so, after about 4 in the afternoon I didn’t give a foc, I was 3 parts pissed, The website that I got the Southern Comfort tip from said to spit it out after swilling, are they MAD :eek

Sun came out in the afternoon so couldn't resist a quick blast on the MT10. Spent a heavenly couple of hours spinning up the rear wheel and having some seriously naughty fun  8)
Only downside was the lack of feel wearing my winter gloves and nearly came unstuck when the left handlebar grip was wrenched from my grip  :eek
I don't know if anyone else finds this but I'm sure our bikes produce more power in the cold air. Haven't got any facts to back this up but it certainly feels like it'

Yes me too out today and I have thought it for years that it just seems to want to "GO" more in the cold air.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Cold air is denser therefore more air is sucked into each cylinder compared to warmer air therefore bigger bang!!

Santa Came Early  :woot

After years of promising myself one of these, finally decided my ould knees had enough of praying next to the bikes  :lol and my ould back had enough of bending over working on them :lol

First job now is to whip the carbs of the 1000 to sort a weeping coolant hose.
Replaced my carbs a while ago after removing them to do a little Ivanising and discovered a sticking butterfly shaft on number 1 Carb.
Found an identical model set with 14000 Km on them in Germany and bought them in the off chance that my own were not repairable.
Most likely the hose was pinched in the packing as it is like a tiny pinhole at the edge of the pipe it is on. The hose that is damaged is the same as the ones to the 600 for which I have loads of spare bits.
Managed to sort my own 1000 carbs in the meantime and are now sitting in my spares cabinet Smile

Been out on my Triumph today for a test ride. Spent yesterday trying to sort out its lumpy idle by balancing the throttle bodies with my new Carbtune Pro - good bit of kit  :thumbup

Great to be back riding again.  Big Grin  Just a shame the roads are so greasy and 'orrible.

Rode with many others on the annual Christmas toy run from Streetbike,Halesowen to the Birmingham Childrens Hospital-many dressed up as Santa, elves etc. Loads of Toys,Presents delivered both for the sick children in hospital & stuff for Ronald mcDonald House where relatives stay to be close to their kiddies.
Rode the Tracer this time-still trying to get to 600 miles for first service. Met everal Fazer riders & told them about our forum.
