Have put the cams back in my bike today, tried numerous times to get them sync'd but what ever i do, they seems to be a little issue with the exhaust cam...


Intake

I made sure any slack was on the CCT side before putting it on, and wound it on a little to take up the slack...


I may remove the sprockets and try to mess with the way i remove slack but when i put them in the intake cam was slightly off, that is now spot on and the exhaust is off a little

Looks like your a tooth out.

Use a cable tie to keep the position of the chain on the inlet cam sprocket, remove the intake cam sprocket. Remove the exhaust cam, lift the chain off enough the rotate the cam forward one tooth and put the cam back in. Now put the sprocket back on the inlet cam :thumbup

Thanks Unfazed, i had one more bash last night at 1am, and got it spot on with no need to mess around any further.....so happy now....


well taking clutch off but happy enough lolĀ  Smile
