Front Discs for FZS Fazer 1000 04
#1
Hi There,
I am looking for a pair of brake discs for my Fazer 1000 as the garage just noticed
I have worn a death star like trench in them with the brake pads, I didn't notice the
damn thing was still stopping :o

So anyone currently braking a Fazer thou?

Cheers,
Fuzzy

Think these may still be for sale, worth getting in touch.

I'm not sure I've not heard good things about Chinese discs, i've only ever run
EBC Disc's you see so I don't have any comparison.

I had a set of the Chinese Brake disks (looked the same as the ones in the link above, but from a different seller) on my CBR 929 Fireblade and my old Aprillia Tuono and they where great. Matted with a set of EBC pads I never had an issue with either bikes.

Cool,
I just heard they wear pretty quickly and I'm about 400 miles a week, every week
for work, on top of my personal miles.

To be honest Fuzzy I did'nt cover that sort of mileage each week.
Mine was the occasional run to and from work and regular ride outs so I probably put an averidge 150 miles a week mine at the most. But as a I say, during my ownership I never noticed any adverse wear or negative effect on the braking but your weekly 400 miles is definately more than I would have covered.
