Have to agree, they are a pair of twats.
I also have a thing about personalised number plates. I just don't get them.
I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.

I don't mind personalised plates if they are good ones - I have to admit that two vehicles in this house have them, both gifts though.

I just can't stand the shite ones where they have to make a number look like a letter by changing it or spacing it illegally, or they change a letter by deliberately printing it wrong, both illegal and an MOT failure.

Some garages do get funny though, my missus' plate is her first name, spelt correctly with no altered letters or numbers and it passes the ANPR test with Plod and on it's 3rd MOT we took it to a different main dealer as it was closer to where we moved and the MOT tester got all funny as there's no double space in the middle.

Never had a problem before and we never took it there again, their loss.

Well we all make mistakes at some point, I can't say I have never done what those two did. Hardly seems worth the effort to post it on youtube really.

Not mistakes, both drivers deliberately ignored road signs.

Well worth the effort.

Well worth the effort.

The Audi driver seemed genuinly confused. The right turn right road arrow markings are in the middle of the intersection after the lights and are not standard some kind of sick joke. Too little too late road markings. I do not see the arrows marked before the lights. Anybody can make a mistake if the road markings are wrong or non-existing. Just saying.

Here is how it should be notice the proper turn right arrow painted before the intersection:

The arrow in Vals picture might be correct but the spelling certainly is not. Smile

Had a look and my 2peneth worth is this.
You moved off at the amber light
And a lot quicker than the Audi was maybe expecting
And I don't see you indicating.
The Audi maybe thought that you were going straight ahead but then all of a sudden you were in the same spot that he was heading for.

Its a shitty road junction - we all have at least one near us and fully expect some drivers to make mistakes at them and so make allowances for it to happen. Not fully the drivers fault, although it is an Audi with dark tinted windows so you should of expected him to be a nob.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

The right hand turn only is also signed at the traffic light and in the road approaching the trffic light.

It's a well used queue jump at that junction.

Yes i moved off quickly 'cos I knew what the dick was going to do, he looked surprised at he was expecting to be able to queue jump with no problem, that didn't work out for him.

Why would I indicate at a right turn only junction?

The first one looks like a classic queue-jumping attempt to me.

Gawd knows what the second one was thinking :rolleyes

Oh I see now - I didn't realise it was a right turn only lane.

So lets see then, you could see what he was going to do, so you put yourself in danger by zooming off to get there first so you could block his way just so you could post it on utube  Wink

Where exactly in Highway code you have read that is fine not to give indicators when turning right? Pedestrians/cyclist crossing straight may not realise that you have no choice and you are going to turn right.

Also the drivers from the opposite lane that crosses your path how exactly they will know that your lane is for turning right?

Maybe he was doing queue jump or maybe he was texting and not realising the lane was for right turn does it really matter if you collide? Where exactly is this junction?

Relax a little bit looking for trouble is not ideal when you are riding a bike honestly.
