spent the day zipping about town on the project ive been working on for the last few weeks,a tw 125 had been idle for a year ,,tank rusted through had all the bits off painted them with rattle cans but had the new tank painted by a pro ,,learned loads taking it apart and putting it back together ,even fitted the c+s meself AND had the carb and starter apart ,,with a bit of guidance from UNFAZED,, and spent the evening teaching my stepson to ride ,,he was buzzing and is now hooked and determined to get his own bike,,little does he know the tw is his when the time comes :lol ,,little bit sad the project is over though ,,just needs some decals for the tank to finish it off .

Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.
Fitted an SW Motech micro tank bag to the MT10 today, quality bit of kit then rode to the beach and jumped into the sea....It was a hot one.

As the Fazer is awaiting some work - booked in for Thursday - I've been hammering the Striple for the last couple of weeks; got the Triumph comfort seat fitted now too, so can hammer it for longer :b
Today, did another ride around the Lake District. Then poked my nose down a little lane I haven't explored before on the eastern side of Ullswater. Half way along the lake, the lane suddenly climbs in steep switchbacks: ![]() Then parked up: ![]() and noticed a path heading up the hillside to the top of the fell: ![]() Looks inviting, not too far to the top, so headed up for the views: ![]() ![]() ![]() Ullswater from the top: ![]() ![]() Then hammered it home again. The Fazer is of course faster, but it's this little hooligan bike that's gonna lose me my license :evil

Excellent work Downie & a top story......my old man bought me my first bike.....a fazer of course 8)
my granddad bought him his first bike. so it is tradition and ill have to buy my daughter her first bike.....haven't mentioned that to the wife yet on account of her only being 1 & a half at present buy hey you gotta get them interested from a young age.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
is the tank bag lockable onto the bike or can it be removed?could I leave it on the bike and walk away and not some low life nick it?
If I wanted to make a life-long career out of
working with the mentally retarded I would have opened a Harley Davidson Dealership!
Yes, there is a facility to lock it on to the bike as there are extra holes you can drill as seen in the drilling template. Don't ask me how though, I didn't read the instructions, just looked at the pictures.....standard procedure
