Juddering in Gear

I have recently bought my first big bike after passing my test and decided to go for a Yamaha FZS 600. I noticed after getting it that the chain and inside the arm was covered in grime and dirt so decided to clean the chain. after taking it all off cleaning it and re assembling it the bike now judders when it is in gear, and I have no idea why. I have adjusted the chain tension but it makes no difference. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi sam and welcome to the forum.....check how much slack you have and also if you have any tight spots...
I noticed this is your first post,after you have checked for any tight spots get yourself off to the "introduction" section and tell us a bit about yourself, we like pictures on here....not of you :eek but one of you fazer would be good.....

If the juddering wasnt there before adjusting the chain then theres the answer.. As above, check the tension the whole way round the chain.. Overly tight is never a good thing particularly on the fazer.. Yes a picture would be cool

Are you on about when riding it, or with the bike in gear on the centre stand?

The juddering is when it is on the centre stand there is a video of it in just above the photos. I will include it in this message as well.
I have re-checked and redone the tension on the chain and it still happens.

It's normal, just make sure the lower chain slack is around 35mm. The momentum of the wheel is trying to overtake the speed of the chain, but the chain obviously won't let it which causes the jumping about. It'll be fine when you ride it.

If you apply a VERY SMALL amount of throttle to actually pull the wheel it will actually stop jumping about.
DO NOT give the throttle a handful though, you have been warned!

Whenever you feel the need to get a new chain and sprocket set, make sure you buy the new 12mm upgraded sprocket nut, as i notice you still have the old 9mm nut fitted.
Plenty of info on here about it.
