758's/Hel brake lines
#1
About to order a set of Hel brake lines, using the 3 line set up on the front. Did anyone using full width 758 bars and this configuration bother to order the master cylinder to splitter line any longer than stock. Thanks in advance.

From what I recall I had to chop off approx 3/4" off the 758's to fit the Goodrich standard version of what you are doing.  I don't know about Hell but the Goodrich ends where not lined up correctly at the banjos but just fitted from the master cylinder.  Two years later I Swapped them for Venhills, the ends are on collets so you can get a much better fit at each banjo with less strain but again was just long enough at the master cylinder.  Check them out before you commit but think you will need the longer one you mention on the full length bars.

I am using the Hel twin line 'race' setup with 758s fits with no issues.

I am using Venhil 3 line set up with 758 (full width) on mine without issue.

I have had HEL, Goodrich etc in the past and the venhills are so much easier to fit due to removable adjustable ends.

Thanks for the replies chaps. I'll check out the Venhills as hadn't considered them, although have used them in the past for cables on 60's BSA/Triumphs.
