I wondered if someone could recommend a reliable make of after market mini indicators. Nothing fancy, just a black body, amber lens preferably arrow head shape. Think the ones I've got are Motrax, which have lasted about 800 miles before the sprung section of the bulb holder has decided not to be sprung any more. Thanks in advance.

I have the stock ones on the front. As I've fitted a really high level pipe the indicators are mounted on the numberplate to get under the pipe. I was hoping to just take apart the wiring I've installed and substitute a better made product for what I've got. Thanks for your suggestion, it's all food for thought.

If it's broken, it's not fixed.
That's the one, but need to get a better made make that will inspire a bit more confidence. Good luck with your sale.

Decided on the Oxford halogens. Next time we're out I'll leave them on permanent hazard, you won't have a scooby which way I'm going. Tee hee.

Very good advice, the eye has difficulty judging the distance to a small object, even if it's bright. A cager just glancing at the mirror may see a bright light but not realize it is close or not even realize it comes from your bike and not pay attention.
Bike manufacturers don't make big ugly signals to piss you off, they do it for a reason.
On my bike, I removed the small and bright aftermarket front signals (that the PO had installed) and installed the big ugly OEM ones with bright LED bulbs inside.
Function over form...
You're preaching to the converted, I've already stated my fronts are stock.
