Well its seems as if its up for grabs about the CARBATOOTER balancing, some do it every 4K some say not until about 25K, if it helps the bike run a bit smoother by ironing out any little vibs then I feel its worth doing as I do get a very slight buzz through the pegs, its not uncomfortable but noticeable after 80 miles or so, would be nice to lose that.
So what tuning Aids/Brands do you guys recommend and what prices would I expect to have to pay?
My Fazer had an upper cylinder service just before I purchased it (I'm assuming that included valve clearances as they do not rattle excessively)
I will have to dig out the paperwork to find out what that entailed.
reminds me of the story of the guy who took his Honda (Well it would not be a Yammy) to the garage because it was running rough and on collecting it after the repair the guy said to the mechanic what was wrong with it? He was told shit in the carbs, he replied 'does that really help and how often do I have to do it'
Today was my second ride on my "new to me" Fazer 1000... ...just around the A-roads of Devon...
I was feeling pretty good about it as well, until I saw Hedgetrimmer's photos..! :'( Ha ha!

Nice little blast around the lanes scrubbing in new T30's. Made friends with the local traffic cop and drooled over an MV Augusta. The thing is a work of art. Just look at the detailing on the wheels....Exquisite.
Not overly struck on that. I'd rather a husqvarna nuda or a ktm superduke. Plus ,Spoked wheels are an invention of the devil and only deserving of cafe racers and supermotos.
my momma always says, stupid is as stupid does.
that's all i gotta say about that

Agrees with Toady Not Stuck on the Gusta, I'm loathed to say it but it does look a bit tarty, especially in PINK. I bet its a bastard to keep that back wheel looking good with chain lube on the white rims. would be more sense if it was belt drive but alas its chain.Maybe I'm just jealous cos i can't afford one, but then if I had that sort of money I would not be buying the Gusta, I would spend many many many thousands less and buy a pristine 1000 Gen 1 I just love the 80's/90's Star War looks of the FZS. That why my baby FZS Foxeye will be with me to the end (Hope that is not prophetic in any way).Imagine being buried sat on your Fazer skid lid and leathers in place not forgetting your glove as you don't want your fingers getting cold, maybe that's a step to far.
