what did you do with your fazer today ?
Carried out a transfusion - this will upset some people..........
Oil used - Asda 10W40 Semi Synthetic. £11 for 5 Litres.
Been using it for ages in all kinds of vehicles - no issues at all.
I change the oil & filter on the Fazer at approx 4,000 miles or 6 months whichever comes round soonest.
Tomorrow, the head bearings will be changed and the rear shock linkage will receive a good cleaning and lubing, not to mention spark plugs and front brake pads ready for next weeks MOT.
Whilst I'm getting jiggy with it I may service the EXUP as I haven't touched that since I bought the bike 2 years/16,000 miles ago  :eek

Over the winter I have had my Fazer re-sprayed, new plugs, air filter serviced brakes, just the oil and filter to change and added a new can

Went for a fazer blast with a fellow foccer to lochwinnoch - largs - gourock , then a quick race with a new bmw 535. I was much quicker on straights and fast bends but couldnt match his speeds around slow corners and roundabouts. ludicrous speeds all the way home :rolleyes
If it's broken, it's not fixed.

Went to this event https://www.facebook.com/events/461960820640492/?ti=cl
Then went a wee spirited run with a couple of mates afterwards......
Ballich, Drymen, Aberfoyle, Dukes Pass, Loch Katrine,  back the same way as far as Drymen then onto Carbeth Inn then home, 96 miles of smiles Smile

Great day but I'm absolutely shattered and as a bonus the sun was out all day, yeah I know Scotland had sun ALL DAY! :lol

Did you stop at the Waterfall cafe , usually quite a few bikers there .I have been wanting  to head up to Wales for a while , it's hard to find the time and persuade the wife to let me go .

Spent several hours drawing this on my crap drawing program and sent it to a laser cutting company to have it cut out of aluminium. Also ordered a steel flange which my local welder can weld in to the top of the tank

With a bit of machining I'm hoping it'll look like a proper dry break

Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!
