Account may not be the correct term, basically I've signed in as a guest not admin. Its windows 7 pro. Only use free anti virus and adblock with cc cleaner, worked fine for awhile but recently started to get slow to load pages etc so will now login as guest, just wondered if there was away of transfering my book marks

If you just want bookmarks then I'd suggest making use of Firefox's Sync feature (requires an account with them). If it's an up to date version of Firefox you should find Sync under the menu in the top right. Set this up under your old windows account first and wait for the sync to finish, then sign in to your new account on Windows and sign in to your Sync account on Firefox.
I use this myself so that bookmarks and history are shared between my home PC, work PC, laptop and mobile phone

Yes in firefox you can transfer the book marks
Go bookmarks
show all bookmarks and the menue at the top of that box has a import/ backup section
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
I've copied all the bookmarks to the desktop but of course this is in one user profile and when I switch user its not available to import. Could possibly burn them on a disk and open the file in the new profile although I'm not keen on that after reading an article that suggests importing profiles etc can leave you with the same issues you had before and that even though it's slow it's possibly best to manually transfer your bookmarks
There's only about 200, wont take that long grrrrrrrrrr
Thanks
