Gave my Exup valve it's yearly service,  and cleaned the downpipes as much as I could reach, cracked off and removed each header nut in turn and added copperslip to all threads.

Exup was still moving freely  before I removed it and the rest position was still in spec. once I'd re-assembled it all.

Glad I've got a bike bench, makes these jobs so much easier than rolling around on he floor.

I don't think I will have a 1K Fazer, someone said to me that you have to be special to need one of them, I think that's what they said, errrrrrrrr...... or was it you have to have 'Special Needs' to have one of them? yeah that was it. :rollin
Who knows one day when I grow up I may get one, but in the mean time my lil FZS rocks, there is not much that will leave it through the lanes and country roads of Hampshire, Ok it's a bit different on the major routes but I try my damnedest to avoid them like the plague. It is good for a tad over 140mph, 0-60mph still frightens the s--t out of me, I'm told the FZS 600 does it in 3.9 secs, but not with me on it.
I do like the look of the silver lumped early thousands.  The attached pic would do me nicely but just personalize it a bit.  Big Grin

We all know that Silver owners are a throw back of old days trying to relive when there were films like Silver dream Racer with David Essex. :rollin

Most of the owners are afraid to ride the really fast red ones, but afraid to admit it. :lol :lol :lol

Gave it a good wash to get rid of the ACF50 and then put on a coat of HydrO2.

Just about to go back out and clean and oil the chain and kick stand.

Not at all, the only red I see are red fazers passing silver ones,

You will always know the owner of a silver bike, the give away is the number of flies on the back of a silver owners helmet  :lol :lol :lol

Went for 280 odd mile spin with Downey today, left around 7:30am (bloody cold in the morning, but warmed up a bit during the day) and arrived back at 5:30pm. Good spin, but took it very handy, being the law abiding citizens we are. :lol
Got caught up in 4 St. Patricks day parades along the way. :eek
Met a group of not to friendly Harley owners in Portlaoise :rolleyes

As we were leaving Mother Hubbards restaurant  in Cashel we met a a 79 year old fellow who was riding a brand new CB500x Honda doing the Photo rally and an 86year old fellow who is building a sidecar outfit for his Honda 50    Big Grin

Went up to Hawes via Settle, nice and sunny but not as warm as it looked,  spotted this C90 in Settle, I sometimes take a banana or something with me to snack on but a whole picnic is a bit much, Givi are missing a trick there Smile
