Got everything together to service the Bike and remove the AIS today.

So drained the coolant, removed the Rad and got the AIS out.

Then spent the next coupleof hours taping holes that where left after removing the AIS and putting it all back together.
Just got to check the coolant level again tomorrow and then put the belly pan and fairing inner panel back on and I'm done

All those headers bolts need replacing with steel ones.

It's surface rust and they are no worse than any others that I've seen. Even with the belly pan it's enevitable that they are going to get the brunt of any wet weather while riding.

It's a GIVI screen, don't think there was a particular model, it was just their Touring one as far as I know.

First proper run of the Year today.

Headed out to Box Hill in Surrey.
Wasn't exactly packed but there where a few bikes knocking around.

Got hold of a cheap second hand seat that had a small tear in the cover.

So decided to make myself a new "Comfort" Seat  Smile
Strpped the old cover off

Then marked out where I wanted to cut the foam.

Made the cut

Started to then rebuild it with new softer foam.

Then used a pair of thick ladies tights to stretch over the new foam and hold it all in place.

Then a layer of smoothing foam bonded over the top of it all.

Loosly fitted the new cover.

Then tensioned it and stapled it all down.

Fairly pleased with it for my first attempt at this sort of job  8)
