The story so far.... Last March I bought an MT-07ABS which was great fun but to help fund this had to let "Rhondda Red" my 600 Foxeye go to a new home.
In the summer I got my local friendly car MOT man to check the car over & I worked out what I might have to spend in the next 12 months.Meantime I found a Fiat main dealer with a batch of pre-registered 15 plate Pandas so struck a deal, using my approaching 6 year old Panda as part-ex. However I then had to make a decision to sell the MT-07. (My family thought I had finally decided to hang up the Shoei & was at last"growing up"!) They dont understand that some addiction cant be cured!.
So 5 months in the doldrums and didnt even want to visit the local bike shops-Last week I finally cracked and yesterday morning took delivery of a 2001  FZS600S in red black & silver which came with new MOT, past receipts & replacement staainless headers/collector box, new studs & nuts & braided hoses, rear hugger & front fender extender & stainless rad guard -all for under a grand!
So 2 questions please.....
1) Any recommendations for insurance/--not sure I want to go back to Carole Nash. Want 3PFT/Comp & breakdown cover-have a good 11 years NCD.
2) Any suggestions for a name----no, not "slow red" but something catchy :lol

Thoughts going round my head...."Red  Revisited", "The Red Reviver", "The Rejuvenator"., But what about the Silver & Black ?
Very pleased so far have done oil & filter, ordered 12mm sprocket nut & lockwasher kit. Had tank off & checked electrical connectors etc. Air filter good to go.
Next task check & clean brakes. Then swing arm & suspension linkage bearings-strip, clean & regrease.

How about "Revenant"?  SmileTopical and maybe describes what it feels like to get  back on a Fazer.

Bike looks great. I know what you mean about being addicted, I been fighting off  ''Why don't you just sell it?'' for quite a while now, I am determined to get mine out of the garage this year.
