For Sale: 2004 FZS1000 Fazer - **NOW SOLD**
#1
2004 Fazer 1000

37,000 miles

First registered December 2004. Three previous owners.

Mot until October 2016. No advisories.

A pair of Michelin Pilot Road 3s were fitted in November, with approximately 500 miles of use since.

The bike is in great condition, with only a few cosmetic signs of wear on the fairing inserts and some paint flaking from the engine (a common issue for these bikes).

Comprehensive service history with a folder full of paperwork including all old MOT certificates, receipts, invoices for works done (e.g. the suspension refresh). Oil and filter change (by me) in November with the Exup valve serviced (and essential annual job).

The bike starts off the button in all weather and has been flawlessly reliable in my ownership. The heated grips are fantastic and work flawlessly.

It’s a fantastic all-rounder, which was perfect for my 50mile daily commute into London. Its surprisingly economical (50mg+) which gives a tank range of 200 miles to empty. It’s an incredibly smooth and comfortable bike, which can lend itself to all sorts of riding demanded of it.

As I’m no longer working in London, such a sensible bike is now surplus to requirements and I’m looking for something far more impractical!
A number of sensible extras/modifications have been added, including:

·        Mivv Carbon/Stainless exhaust. Sounds superb baffle in or out. Original exhaust is also included.
·        HYPERPRO rear spring
·        HYPERPRO fork springs
·        Scottoiler
·        DID chain replace 2 years ago and in great conditions thanks to the Scottoiler.
·        Renthal 758 handlebars
·        Taller screen (as seen in photos). The original clear screen is included with the sale.
·        Oxford heated grips, with controls mounted on the fairing inset panel. Fully operational.
·        Crash bungs (genuine Yamaha items)
·        Venhill braided brake line (front only)
·        Radiator guard in stainless steel.
·        Pazzo Racing brake/clutch levers. Originals included with the sale.
·        Ram Mount (for phone or Satnav holders)
·        Datatag
·        Brand new Michelin Pilot Road 3s

Looking for £1,900

The bike will come with all original parts mentioned, plus x2 sets of keys and the factory toolkit.

Bike is located in Dorking, Surrey.

Test rides are fine as long as you’re insured and can leave a cash deposit.

Lurker rather than a poster. Sorry, is such behavior frowned upon?

It's now sold in any case.

Do you really think that's an appropriate thing to write on someones for sale thread?

Did you consider that in posting the advert it might provide an opportunity for a new or existing forum member? Clearly not. How about i delete my membership and you continue to flap about in this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet. Deal?

Wooderson - Normal practice is for new members to introduce themselves first before making use of the for sale/wanted section. As you clearly didn't do this, people are just saying hello.

In the event you have lead a sheltered life, or English is not your first language (the internet is great at hiding these things) the post by Taylor is a form of "hello" in some regions of the UK.

Thread now locked.
Another ex-Fazer rider that is a foccer again
