Not really a fan myself and too young when he was at the hight of his fame, that said he was without doubt one of music greats and by all acounts a nice bloke.

a very talented artist who had a knack of effortlessly changing style, very innovative and some of his songs will last the test of time

Mainly enjoyed his 70s style more than the more recent stuff but that just shows the genius the guy was...such a wide range and prepared (and able) to change.

I think he was a great artist and will be dearly missed, don't think he ever upset anyone, he came across as a very genuine guy.

Bowie was a great artist. Both Lemmy and Bowie - loved their songs, attitude, what they stood for.
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.

He's earning another fortune this last couple of days!!!
Yes I genuinely did a double take at the breakfast telly when it flashed up and thought I had lost someone I knew for a minute. Quiet a weird feeling, as I was a fan of some of his music but not all of it that's for sure. Incidently the last time I got the same feeling was when Elvis passed !!!! |
