RIP fella.....u will be missed....two British greats gone in as many days....I will always play Man Who Sold The World to remember but u Owned The World....
Just flapping about on this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet.....yup....  :-))

Not really a fan myself and too young when he was at the hight of his fame, that said he was without doubt one of music greats and by all acounts a nice bloke.

Mainly enjoyed his 70s style more than the more recent stuff but that just shows the genius the guy was...such a wide range and prepared (and able) to change.

I think he was a great artist and will be dearly missed, don't think he ever upset anyone, he came across as a very genuine guy.

Bowie was a great artist. Both Lemmy and Bowie - loved their songs, attitude, what they stood for.
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.

He's earning another fortune this last couple of days!!!

Yes I genuinely did a double take at the breakfast telly when it flashed up and thought I had lost someone I knew for a minute. Quiet a weird feeling, as I was a fan of some of his music but not all of it that's for sure.

Incidently the last time I got the same feeling was when Elvis passed !!!!

He was definitely saying goodbye with his later stuff, people who worked with him knew and were sworn to secrecy. The guy was a legend -  really is Major Tom now. Sad day.
