Speedo on Import
#1
I have a FZS600 which is an import with KPH clocks. It currently has a sticker over the speedo for MPH. If I swap the KPH clocks for a MPH clocks do I need to do anything else??

Funny you say that....
Years ago I convinced a mate of mine who was thinking of buying an import that all the controls would be opposite to what he was used to :b he ended up not buying it in the end but the joke stood for years :lol

The other thing about imports is the headlights WILL be pointing in the wrong direction, so you'll probably need a new (UK) set  to cure this.

Does take a bit of getting used to having the throttle on the left hand side. ;-)

PS how do you post a smiley on this site. I am using MS Edge, that might be the problem?

if that clock set has not got a speedo healer on it, and only a sticker on it that could be removed I may be interested in them.
I'm emigrating next November to Australia and they use kph rather than mph and I'm taking my bike.
what year is the bike too as mines a 2002 model with the late clocks.  ta.

Haven't started looking for a UK set yet but I think there are plenty on ebay. My set have the gold surround around the rev counter bit. I think they have a different look after 2000 but you will probably know more than me. Not long had the Fazer. You can have first dibs if you are interested.

These clocks aren't interchangeable as the 2002 model has a clock and a smaller block connector on the back compared to the 1998 model. You'd need to change the wiring looms as well :b
