Soon i will be chopping the bike in, yes easy, i am totally 1000cc minded, perhaps blinded, well they are awesome to ride.lol
Now not the Noggy route, lol he's stupid
I weigh under 12 stone, nw thinking clever,,i dont need a big engine,,a 600 or 7 or 8 will skuttle me along nicely,, but this is where the benefits will come,,,,total weight , oe lack of it..
I need a bike to go 130 or 140,,why,,incase i do a bank job missus.
I sat on a couple of dukes, super motard and the small strada,,seemed plenty big enough.
Plus they cost a whole lot less than 1000cc bikes,
There is the tiger 800 sport, looks a dream, met a chap at the oasis could not praise them more.
So what other models lurk with a bit of fairing to hide behind on the european rain circuit ?

Depends what you want to do with it , if your looking for something for longer distances , then bigger is more practical , but if your looking for some thing for weekend blasts then the middleweight are fine and just as much fun , lots of choice out there and don't worry/ about cost that's what PCP is for .
Avoid small Ducati's with twins size really does matter.
Take a look at the Z800 there'e better the the Mt-09 just read the reviews before all thoughs who have them start screaming "rape" :rollin sure MT is cheaper only because they aren't selling that well
Sorry guys but I think your find it's true, ride them back to back and you're see what I mean the Kawa is way better.

I must say those street triple 'R' s are looking good, no fairing I know, and bloody good value used ones.
DON'T! Just stop it!
I'm trying to forget I want one of these, as I quite like the feeling of having some money left in the bank :'(

I can't ride a Street Triple or Speed Triple; as well as being naked the riding position is all canted forward - I feel too near the ensuing accident .
I agree the Tiger 1050 R (or Sport) was a brilliant ride and has a 'Fazer' look about it, but you are looking at a 5 figure price which put me off, along with pricey servicing. Second hand ones that have done a Winter still rust and corrode.
Just a thought, I took out a Fazer 8. They didn't get the best press, but I thought it looked good and the engine is an absolute peach. Suspension was under-damped was my only complaint but perhaps it wasn't set up properly. Best of all they come at the right money - more like £5K for a mint low miler?
