Limax - If you are in Lane 1 and a muppet is going slower in lane 2, it is legal to pass them on the inside as long as you didn't change lanes to achieve it or pull out in front of them afterwards
In other words, you are just moving with the flow of traffic, even if there is not other traffic.

[/quote] It's not illegal to pass a vehicle on its nearside (if it was, we'd never be allowed to filter), but if you start switching between the lanes then you could be done for Careless Riding (according to a Magistrate I know).
