anyone done CSS?
#1
Has anybody here been and done it?
Was it any good,  did you learn anything, or was it an egg sucking exercise?

I did it at Cadwell quite a few years ago now, but it was a superb day  Smile
Lots of great advice and encouragement and actually a lot more track time than I thought  Big Grin

California Superbike School??

I've just posted about it on another thread... I done level 1 and 2 this year - had a great few days, learned a lot and was great fun.

I was at Silverstone.

the day gets spilt between classroom work, then on track drills putting into the practice the classroom theory... I think it was 5 track sessions, about 15-20 minutes at a time.

it's a smallish track, and you don't ride fast (not allowed to use brakes for most of it) but there are plenty of different corners, and plenty to practice.

if I've got what CSS means wrong, then ignore the above!  :rollin

all in, I didn't get much change from my £2k budget.

but that included petrol down and back (for my car), hotel, food and bike hire with full insurance from them.

IIRC, 'just' the cost of each level was £450.

well worth it IMO.

How many riders are in a group for level 1 and 2?

and how many instructors for them? What I am trying to find is which school has the instructor assigned to you more time...

why didn't you just ask that the first time then?!?  :b :b :b  :rollin

the ratio is 3-1 for the first few levels. (3 pupils to 1 on track instructor)

they watch you ride, then jump in front of you to show you a few things, sometimes they pull you into the pit lane to have a quick chat.
